Lakpa Sherpa is an integral member of the Mission Nepal Holidays team, serving as a seasoned High Altitude Cook with decades of experience in some of the world’s most challenging mountain environments. Born and raised in the Himalayas, Lakpa has been part of multiple Everest expeditions and other major trekking and climbing adventures throughout Nepal, bringing both skill and dedication to high-altitude culinary support.

Lakpa’s exceptional ability to prepare fresh, hearty meals in extreme conditions makes him an invaluable asset on high-altitude treks and tours. His cooking not only boosts the energy of trekkers and climbers but also provides a much-needed sense of comfort and warmth in remote, high-mountain camps. Whether on an Everest Base Camp journey or a technical climbing expedition, Lakpa ensures that nutritional needs are met with care and consistency.

In recent years, Lakpa has expanded his support role beyond Nepal, assisting with Tibet Tours and the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra — one of the most sacred pilgrimage journeys in the Himalayas. His logistical knowledge of the route, high-altitude experience, and ability to work under pressure contribute to the success of these demanding yet spiritually rewarding adventures.
