Trip Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers breathtaking vistas of mountains, terraced fields, Gurung villages, and a variety of flora and animals. It is an amazing adventure across a diverse terrain and culture. The trek’s goal is Mount Annapurna, the tenth-highest mountain in the world, whose base camp is located at an elevation of 4130 meters/13549 feet. The walk also passes via Mt. Machhapuchhre, also known as Fishtail, one of Nepal’s most beautiful mountains. Outdoor enthusiasts often opt for the well-planned Annapurna Base Camp trek, which is ideal for both single female tourists and group hikers.

Comparing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek itinerary to other treks in the area that go up to the base camp, it is very short at 11 days. Travelers on a tight schedule who yet wish to see the mountain’s grandeur should use this route. An alternative route, like the 14-day Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, would be a better choice for anyone who would like take their time getting to the Annapurna base camp.
