Trip Overview

Sikles and Ghale gaun trek

One of the best places to hike is the Siklish hike in the Kasski District. Trekkers can learn about Nepal’s natural beauty and culture on this trip. The Gurung settlement of Siklish is located southeast of Pokhara, in the foothills of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Trekking through the Siklish village offers the chance to see beautiful mountain views and gain knowledge of Gurung culture and customs. This is a breathtaking short hike that passes through a thick rhododendron forest and Gurung Village. The Gurung Village in Siklish and the breathtaking vistas of numerous peaks, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Gangapurna, and Hiunchuli, are the main draws of this walk.

The stunning city of Pokhara is where the trek begins. We start our journey at Bijayapur khola and climb through Kalikasthan and Lama Khet to Siklish. We can experience the local way of life, customs, and culture while visiting these villages and can enjoy cosy homestay accommodations and delectable local cuisine. We also like watching the Gurung community in the area perform culturally. We travel through Neuli Kharka Village, Ghale Gaun Village, Kharpani Village, and Milanchowk on our way back to Pokhara after touring Siklesh Village. Another well-known village on this trip is Ghale Gaun, where we spend the night.
