Trip Overview
Kathmandu Bandipur Pokhara
The proverb “Every other building in the valley is a temple, and every other day is a festival” describes the Kathmandu valley in Nepal. The valley is full of historical and religious locations where the many ethnic communities continue to celebrate holidays and other events that they consider to be part of Nepal. Nepal has witnessed significant transformations in the arts and the ways that they have impacted people’s lives throughout history. Our art tour will concentrate on the various works of art, antiques, and buildings that have stood the test of time in the valley, as well as their evolution and ongoing evolution into the present day.
Located in Nepal’s Gandaki province’s Tanahun District, Bandipur is a hilltop village and rural municipality. Bandipur is becoming more and more popular among tourists due to its preserved, traditional cultural atmosphere.
Located in central Nepal, Pokhara is a city by Phewa Lake. It serves as a starting point for the well-traveled Annapurna Circuit trek in the Himalayas. Perched on a lake island is the two-story pagoda known as Tal Barahi Temple. Restaurants and yoga centers can be found in the Lakeside region on the eastern shore. Exhibits about the history of climbing and the Himalayan people can be found at the International Mountain Museum, located in the south of the city.
