Tour KEDARNATH: (Elevation: 11,750 feet): Enclosed by the powerful Garhwal Himalayas and majestically perched at a height of 3,580 meters, the Kedarnath Temple is one of Lord Shiva’s twelve Jyotirlingas. One of the four pilgrimage locations of the Chota Char Dham is Kedarnath. Many people travel from all around to this holy spot, which is 11755 feet above sea level, to explore the region’s rolling landscape and ask the Lord’s grace.
The travel from the Dehradun airport or the Haridwar railway station to the Haridwar Hotel takes about five hours.
Once you reach Haridwar, settle into your accommodation and unwind. Afterwards, continue on to Hardwar, one of the main locations where the Ganges River emerges from the mountains and joins the plains. Once here, hire a native Jeep to drive you the remaining three kilometers from Sonprayag to Gaurikund (paying cash only; no other cars are permitted).Begin the 17-kilometer walk from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. When you get there, check into the hotel. Afterwards, go to the Kedarnath Temple and witness the spectacular Lord Shiva Aarti in the evening (worship). The helicopter, palaki, kandi, and pony services for Kedarnath are available for an extra charge.
Trek down to Gaurikund today. After arriving, drive a local Jeep to Sonprayag and then on to Guptkashi (paying cash only). When you get there, register at the hotel. Spend the night at the hotel
