Trip Overview
Panchase trek offers a great opportunity to visit and explore the highlights of the natural and cultural life around Pokhara. It is short, easy, lowland and famous trekking trail in Annapurna Himalayan area. Â Panchase is border of Kaski on the east, Parbat on the west and Syangja on the south. Panchase is considered as the highest hill of this region. Popularly known as Pancha Dham, the hill has also gained its popularity as a religious site.
Hindu Pilgrimages visit Panchase in many occasions to worship god. To preserve its cultural richness and promote tourism, Panchase Development Committee has been formed. The rare vegetation like medicinal plants and lush green forests also add to the importance of this trek. The top of Panchase offers a panoramic view of Himalayas and green valleys and terraces of mid hill Nepal. It is comfortable and interesting to go to Panchase. The unique village settlement of the area is another attraction for the visitors.
This non-technical trek is suitable for the people of different walks of life. Simply, if you are fairly fit and have a little sense of adventure, no difficulties will be encountered in this trek. Day 1:
Arrive at Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. You will be greeted by a representative of Mission Nepal Holiday’s at the airport and transferred to your hotel for overnight as per itinerary. In the evening, you can enjoy the cultural dinner at your hotel.

Day 2:
Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
On this day, we have a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. We visit Pashupatinath, a holy temple; Boudhanath stupa, a Buddhist pilgrimage spot; Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The tour gives you a taste of our vivid Nepali culture and history.Pashupatinath temple gives a chance to the visitors to feel the unique spirit of Hindu traditions of life, death and reincarnation. The temple is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. The best time to visit the temple is early in the morning or late in the evening.

Day 3:
Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara
We start our journey early in the morning. The distance between Kathmandu to Pokhara is 206 km. The journey takes 6 to 7 hours. We can enjoy the road trip because of many twists and turns. We can see breathtaking views of Himalayas, green fields and river sides. It is a wonderful drive with Trishuli, Marsyangdi and Narayani rivers. Pokhara is a beautiful valley with pan panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. We can stay in Pokhara as staying a night in Pokhara can add further excitement in the journey. In the evening, we can enjoy the cultural dinner at hotel.

Day 4;
Boat across Phewa Lake, Trek to Shanti Stupa Continue to Bhumdi
After breakfast at Pokhara, we start a short boat trip across the Phewa Lake to reach our starting point of trek. We climb through the forest to reach World Peace Pagoda. It is popular tourist attraction in Pokhara built by group of Japanese Buddhists. It offers stunning views over mountains, Phewa Lake and Pokhara city. After visit Stupa, we trek to Bhumdi. Most of the people of this area are Brahmin and Gurung. We spend our night in this village.

Day 5:
Trek to Panchase Bhanjang
We take our breakfast at Bhumdi and start our trek to Panchase Bhanjang.it takes 5 to 6 hours. Our trek continues through forest which is interesting for variety of flora and fauna like Monkey, orchids, Rhododendron. On the way we can see amazing view of mountains such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu and Pokhara Valley with Phewa Lake. This day we stay in Panchase Bhanjang.

Day 6:
Early morning summit Panchase Peak and Trek to Bhadaure
Today we need to wake early in the morning. We climb the stone steps about 500m up to Panchase Peak (2500m) for view of sunrise over mountains. Today, we are in the highest point of our trek. From here we can see the panoramic view of Mountains. We take breakfast at the summit and descend down Bhadaure. We can take experience of mix culture of their residents including Gurung, Kami and Brahman. We spend our night at Bhadaure.

Day 7:
Trek to Dhampus (1,580m) Via Kade
After breakfast at Bhadaure, we hike uphill of Kade through Australian Camp and descend to Dhampus. Dhampus has the unique culture of Gurung people. It is popular for the breathtaking view of Mountains such as Annapurna and Machhapuchhre and green hills. It is one of the best places for visitors to view sunrise and sunset. We spend our night at Dhampus.

Day 8:
Trek to Phedi and Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast at Dhampus our last day trek starts. The trail is downhill and takes one hour fourty five minutes to reach Phedi. Then we catch our vehicle and drive to Pokhara. We take lunch at Pokhara. After that we explore Phewa Lake and TalBarahi Temple. At evening we visit lakeside. We spend our night at hotel.

Day 9:
Pokhara Sightseeing
In this day, we need to wake early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot (1600m) for the beautiful sunrise view over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. After breakfast we go for sightseeing of Pokhara city including Bindabasini Temple, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Davis Fall and Gupteshwor Cave. If day time is left, we go for International museum. We spend our night at hotel.

Day 10:
Drive to Kathmandu
After a breakfast in Pokhara, we start our journey back to Kathmandu. It takes 6 to 7 hours. We can enjoy beautiful view of Marshyangdi and Trishuli River, deep valley gorge and green fields on the journey. When we arrive at Kathmandu, our representatives transfer you to the respective hotel. In the evening, you have farewell dinner to celebrate completion of the journey. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 11:
Final Departure- transfer to hotel
This is the last day of your trip. Our company representatives assist you to get to the airport as per your flight departure time.

How difficult is the Panchase village trekking circuit?
You certainly need not require any kind of technical climbing abilities. There are no high passes and the Panchase trek only reaches 2500 meters in altitude. However while
descending down you need to be a bit careful if the forested paths are wet and slippery.
Trekking poles are seriously advised for easy maneuvering and grip. -
What kind of accommodation can I expect on Panchase village Trekking?
We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking routes. The rooms along the routes are clean with cozy beds with nice mattresses and blankets. However it is advisable to carry your own sleeping bags if you have the habit of sleeping on your own bed.Â

What kind of food can I expect during the Panchase village trekking journey?
All the guest houses/lodges in the trekking have attached restaurants and they cook a delicious range of dishes. You are given Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, and fresh seasonal vegetables.
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day. Similarly Lunch is provided on the way to wherever you head for.

Yes you can join this divine pilgrimage trek with your family along with kids. It doesn’t involve too steep a climb while trekking in this region.
This trek is not very difficult. A little bit of physical fitness is required to be on this trek.
