Trip Overview

Panch Pokhari Trek

The Panch Pokhari Trekking trail is an amazing way to access the five sacred ponds of spiritual perfection. These five beautiful lakes hold equal significance for both Buddhists and Hindus. The Panch Pokhari Trekking Trail leads to Kathmandu’s northeastern area.

It is an amazing place that showcases the pure, pristine environment and stunning views of the Himalayas. The walk known as Panch Pokhari comes to life during the Jannai Purnima festival, when the lake is filled with Hindu pilgrims of the Brahmin caste.

This challenging journey to five sacred lakes passes through the Nepali districts of Rusuwa, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchowk. You will be greeted with breathtaking views of the Langtang, Jugal Himal, Rolwaling Himal range, and other snow-capped summits.
