What is the highest altitude that we scale during the Helambu Trek?
The highest altitude we will be reaching during the Helambu Trek of 9 days is 3650 meters. The elevation to climb is not as high as other treks in the region.
Will I get altitude sickness?
No, there is very less to no chances of you getting altitude sickness during your 9 days of your Helambu Trek journey as the altitude elevation is not as high.
What is the best time for the Helambu trek?
The best time for doing the Helambu Trek is in the spring and autumn season. The months of March to May and September to November are favorable for trekking in this region. These are the seasons for getting the best views and present with excellent conditions for trekking.
Do we need any kind of past experience required for this trek?

On the trek we provide all accommodation, food and we cover park fees, so you need to take only small amount of money to purchase water, small snack and tea outside meals, local souvenirs, tips or donations to monasteries if you wish to donate small change. $20 per day should be sufficient to cover such expenses
What is the average distance that we walk on a day to day basis cover?
You will be covering a distance of 5km to 7km depending on condition of trekking trail and the altitude of the trekking route.
Is trekking permit required?
Depending on trekking area you may require a special trekking permit while other areas would require only conservation/national park entry permit and Trekking Information Management System (TIMS) Card.
What is a typical group size for Helambu Trekking?
Group range in size is from 2 up to 12. We do run trips for any number of people, however we need the information about it well in advance.

There are limited telephone services in the trekking route from where you can call domestically or internationally. In the larger villages internet is also available.
