Is Chisapani Nagarkot Trekking a tea house trek circuit?
Primarily the Chisapani Nagarkot Trekking is a tea house trekking circuit. The tea houses here vary on their quality and style on this trek. It comprises a communal room downstairs with one or two bedrooms.
You have to use a shared toilet, and in some tea houses hot shower facilities are also available. Tea houses use a type of burning stove in the main communal area and other rooms are unheated. Tea houses do not have money exchange facilities, hence it’s a good idea to exchange cash in Kathmandu.
How many guides and porters will be there in our group?
The number of guides and porters depends upon the size of the group. Generally a group will have a group leader or a guide, and Porters for carrying your baggage packs and all the camping gear. One porter will carry two trekkers baggage.
How many liters of water do I have to carry in Chisapani Nagarkot Trek?
Mostly 3-4 liters is sufficient. You will be able to refill bottles at lunch time. When you are at a high altitude you have to drink more water to get rid of altitude diseases.
Do I need a trekking pole?
Yes you do need a trekking pole, it helps you save energy in high ascend and descend, if you have weak hips and knees and it helps to reduce the strain.
